How to become a workshop provider for Arts in Health projects
LOST IN ART MENTEESHIP
Closing Date 19 June
Lost in Art is a project aimed at people living with dementia, along with their family members and carers. It follows a successful action research project initiated by Engage Cymru in 2010.
From September to December 2015 the project will be run in 4 counties: Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham. Lost in Art aims to address issues which can affect older people with dementia, including social isolation, confidence, communication and quality of life and wellbeing. There is also an intergenerational element to the project where each Lost in Art project will work with a school. There will be an end of project exhibition at each county as well as a joint regional exhibition.
This is an exciting opportunity for a student artist or an experienced artists who wishes to develop their skills working with this clients group, to act as an assistant mentee on this project. We will also consider applications from health care professional wishing to gain new skills.

Conwy: Lisa Carter at Oriel Mostyn
Wrexham: Ticky Lowe at Wrexham Museum
Flintshire: Jenny Fell at Clwyd Theatre Cymru
